“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”

The first chapter in Genesis introduces us to a God who, in His infinite might has – in and of Himself – the ability to create all things through the power of His Word. His creative power is not limited to physical aspects. In the B’rit Hadashah (New Covenant) we also read that He can re-create hearts and minds as well:
Yeshua (Jesus) said, “Yes, indeed,” Yeshua answered him, “I tell you that unless a person is born again from above, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.” John 3:3
How can we do this? Scripture says to be “born again not from some seed that will decay, but from one that cannot decay, through the living Word of God that lasts forever.” 1 Peter 1:23
Let us journey through the Bible towards a holistic life, a life of wholeness, God’s natural, intended way. This quest is not merely one of self-improvement. It’s ultimate purposes are divine. Search the Scriptures not just for knowledge and intellectual ability. Search the Scriptures to tap into the divine power who created our earth and the vast universe, for surely this same power can also bring us holistic, complete & balanced, health and healing. I believe this with all my heart. Paul writes:
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:1-2 KJV
