Unlike how most Christians believe, the Torah* is not just the 5 books of Moshe…Yeshua and other apostles refer to other parts of the Tenakh (Old Testament) that are outside the 5 books of Moshe as Torah also. For example, Yeshua and Sha’ul called verses from Psalms and Isaiah “Torah”.
John 10:34 calls Psalm 82 Torah:
John 10:34 Yeshua answered them, “Isn’t it written in your Torah, `I have said, “You people are Elohim‘ “?
Psalm 82:6 “My decree is: ‘You are elohim [gods, judges], sons of the Most High all of you.
7 Nevertheless, you will die like mortals; like any prince, you will fall.’”
8 Rise up, Elohim, and judge the earth; for all the nations are yours.
1 Corinthians 14:21 calls Isaiah 28:11-12 Torah:
1 Corinthians 14:21 In the Torah it is written, “By other tongues, by the lips of foreigners I will speak to this people. But even then they will not listen to me,” says ADONAI.
Isaiah 28:11 So with stammering lips, in a foreign accent, [ADONAI] will speak to this people.
12 He once told this people, “It’s time to rest, the exhausted can rest, now you can relax” – but they wouldn’t listen.
I learned this from David Stern’s Complete Jewish Bible & Commentary. I can’t find any other references like this, but these are 2 witnesses (Matthew 18:16 , John 8:17, Deuteronomy 17:6, Deuteronomy 19:15).
* In English, Torah is translated as law in most Bibles
